Business meetings

We hold a business meeting on the last Sunday of January, March, June, September, and December. Every member gets a voice and a vote.

Next one: the last Sunday of the next business month. Ask a co-host for the time.

Discord

Between meetings we talk on Discord. You'll find literature, the schedule, and other alcoholics to lean on.

A co-host pastes the invite link into the Zoom chat near the end of every meeting. Stick around and grab it.

For co-hosts

When someone asks for proof of attendance, check that their camera was on, then email them this:

[First name] attended a meeting of the 50 in 50 Group of Alcoholics Anonymous on [date].

Safety statement

Paste this into the chat at the start of every meeting.

The First Tradition states: "Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends upon AA unity." Our group strives to provide a safe meeting place for all attendees. Behaviors that will not be tolerated include but are not limited to: sexual harassment, sexual or gender identification intolerance, racism, sexism, threats of violence, bullying, or coercion. If you feel that someone has violated these guidelines, report it to any of the meeting co-hosts, and those in violation will be asked to leave the meeting.
